Data Deletion & Account Rights
In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and global privacy frameworks, you have full authority to request data deletion, download your data archive, or schedule permanent account erasure.
Please note that Data Deletion, Retrieval & Download actions operate under a dedicated, expedited timeframe (48 to 72 hours), whereas Full Account Deletion includes a mandatory 30-day safety grace period with weekly email reminders to prevent accidental loss of your identity and purchases.
Data Deletion, Retrieval & Download
Use this process if you wish to erase specific gameplay telemetry, unlink social integrations (such as Facebook/Meta Login), or retrieve and download a complete machine-readable copy of your personal data without closing your master account.
Method A: Request via Email (Recommended)
Send an email to privacy@webspiderstudios.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request - [Your User ID or Email] or Download My Data - [Your User ID or Email].
Our automated data management system will process your request, retrieve or erase your records from our servers, and confirm completion within 48 to 72 hours.
Method B: Remove via Facebook App Settings
If you logged in or connected using Facebook:
- Open your Facebook Profile Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Click Apps and Websites.
- Find Our Games/Apps / WebSpider Studios and click Remove.
- Under View Removed Apps, click Send Request to trigger automatic data deletion on our servers.
Right to Access & Data Portability (Download Archive)
Under the DPDP Act and GDPR, you have the right to obtain a digital export of your stored personal profile information, saved preferences, and telemetry. Email privacy@webspiderstudios.com with your verified account email. Our privacy officer will compile and securely deliver your JSON/CSV export within 48 to 72 hours.
Records Erased Upon Data Deletion:
- Third-party authentication links and social tokens (Facebook, Google Play Games).
- Device telemetry, advertising IDs, and non-essential analytics logs.
- Cloud-saved puzzle levels, gameplay milestones, and playtest logs.
Permanent Account Deletion
30-Day Safety Grace Period with Weekly Reminders:
Account deletion permanently erases your master WebSpider Studios account across all games, wallets, and tools. To protect players from irreversible accidental loss, malicious takeovers, or impulse deletion, all account deletions undergo a mandatory 30-day grace period with weekly email countdown reminders (sent at 21, 14, and 7 days).
Self-Service Instant Scheduling
Log into your account and navigate to Account Settings → Session & Account. Click Schedule Account Deletion. You will be sent a 6-digit email OTP security code to authorize the request.
Open Account SettingsRequest by Privacy Email
Send an email from your registered account to privacy@webspiderstudios.com with subject Delete My Account - [Email]. Our team will verify your identity and initiate the 30-day scheduled queue.
If you change your mind during the 30-day window, you can instantly revoke and cancel the deletion request at any point by logging into your Account Settings and clicking “Revoke Deletion”.
